For my other activity I have to discover where I come from and where my family comes from. I first read a legend about Kupe and how another man found New Zealand. Here is the story
I found out that i come from the same place as Kupe. I am a Maori decent and that is the same for my family!

ReplyDeleteWOW, Kupe was such a great explorer and it is so cool that you come from the same place as him!
If you could explore the world, what country would you go to first? Or would you travel the seas trying to find never-seen-before countries? I think that although it would be awesome to discover a new country, I would prefer to travel around lots of other countries around the world - I love discovering new things about the traditions and cultures in different countries!
I noticed that you wrote that you were from Māori decent, and I was wondering if anyone from your family is from any other countries? Personally, I am half-dutch (from the Netherlands) and half New Zealander.
Is there any other information you could find out about your family history and add to your blog post? Make sure to keep it cybersafe!
